Embedded software engineering, model-driven code generation, hardware architecture heterogenity, functional safety |
Short description: |
Concepts and tools are developed to support the model-driven development for embedded systems from the model level to the hardware architecture.
Solutions are identified and prototypical implementations are provided to reduce the gap between high-level object-oriented models (e.g. UML) and the diverse low-level hardware levels (mostly implemented based on the imperative paradigm).
A univeral hardware abstraction layer will be designed. One focus is on functional safety properties during the generation process.
